Introduction of disposable electric laparoscopic stapler

Release time: 06/11/24

The stapler is the world's first stapler, which was first used for gastrointestinal anastomosis a century ago. After 1976, tubular staplers were widely used in surgical operations. Staplers are generally divided into disposable and reusable staplers. They are medical devices that replace traditional manual suturing. In recent years, new disposable all-electric laparoscopic staplers have been increasingly used in clinical practice. This type of electric laparoscopic stapler combines a DC motor, a circuit board, and a mechanical transmission part. It can fully realize all action functions under electric control, and the operation method is relatively simple. Doctors can generally complete all operation actions of the device with one hand. The product has stable and reliable working performance, higher efficiency, lower incidence of medical accidents, and low manufacturing cost. It is particularly suitable for clinical operations that do not require re-sterilization for one-time use. These advantages have led to the gradual and widespread promotion of the device, allowing more patients to receive effective treatment.

laparoscopic stapler

一. Working principle of stapler

Use titanium nails to cut and staple tissues, similar to staplers.

二. Composition of disposable electric laparoscopic cutting stapler

Control circuit: used to control the normal operation of the product: cutting, retracting, stopping, etc.

Transmission mechanism: small motor, transmission parts, etc., used to transmit driving force.

Arm and housing: used for actual operation: entering the cavity, adjusting angles, clamping tissues, etc.

Cutting and stapler part: cutting knife, stapler, etc., used to cut tissues and establish staplers.

Among them, the control circuit part and the transmission mechanism part are the core parts of the product, and are also the key points to distinguish electric staplers from traditional non-electric staplers.

三: Features of disposable electric laparoscopic cutting stapler;

1. Disposable electric laparoscopic stapler is one of the important components of laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgery;

2. Disposable electric laparoscopic cutting stapler has the characteristics of avoiding cross infection, reducing side effects and postoperative complications;

3. Different tissue heights have different heights, and disposable stapler is suitable for cutting, transection and anastomosis of tissues in abdominal, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric and thoracic surgery;

4. Compared with traditional manual staplers, the firing process of disposable electric laparoscopic cutting stapler is simplified, and the cutting and suturing of tissues are achieved by triggering the electric button. Smooth drive reduces distal vibration;

5. The cutting and anastomosis part has adaptive large-angle adjustment, which has a wider range of applications;

6. The special gap design of the jaws can ensure that the distal and proximal forces are consistent when the tissue is clamped, and the nails are formed at the same height, making the nails uniform and flat;

7. The surface gripping technology of the stapler can better grasp the tissue without damage, reduce tissue overflow, and ensure that the tissue remains in place during firing. And it can effectively control the swing of the staples after being pushed out, so that the staple formation effect is good;

四:Usage effect

laparoscopic stapler usage

五: Usage method

1. Open the sterile package, load the battery pack and staple cartridge into the instrument, check the instrument; close the jaws, introduce the instrument into the body cavity through the puncture or incision, and then slowly release the positioning handle to open the jaws. If necessary, turn the knob fin to rotate the instrument rod, and pull the knob backward to select an appropriate surface to change the jaw angle by pressing the jaws against the surface.

2. Place the instrument around the tissue to be cut and anastomosed, press the positioning handle to close the jaws to clamp the target tissue, wait for about 15 seconds to allow the jaws to fully "squeeze" the tissue, and pull the red safety switch backward so that the firing button can be pressed.

3. Press the firing button to fire the instrument; wait for the motor to start and make a sound, continue to press the firing button until the motor stops (makes a sound) to reach the end of the severance; release the firing button to complete the firing sequence to start the motor and automatically return the cutting knife to its original position.

4. Release the positioning handle to open the jaws, gently pull the instrument away from the severed tissue, make sure the tissue has been released from the jaws, then pull the fins of the knob to return the jaws to a straight and flat position; to remove the instrument from the body cavity, press the positioning handle until it is locked to close the jaws. Pull out the instrument completely when it is in the closed position.
